Our customer is on of the worlds largest chemical company with over 120,000 employees worldwide. 
We are looking for a Frontend Developer (m/f/d) for a permanent position in Cologne.


Your tasks
 
  • You will be responsible for front-end development, act as a point of contact for your team members and work closely with product engineers, solution architects, software developers and our commercial operations team.
  • Together with the project team, you will translate the business requirements of digital farming into IT requirements and concrete technical implementations that cover the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Together with our back-end team and domain experts, you will be responsible for technical design, including customer-facing architecture and defining API contracts.
  • You will also work with the back-end, design and QA teams and domain experts to perform feature development and performance analysis and improvements.
  • You will participate in all phases of product governance and the development lifecycle, including writing epics and user stories, and support sprint planning in our agile development setup.

Your Profile
 
  • University degree in computer science or natural sciences, engineering, mathematics or a related field and several years of professional experience
  • Experience in software development and sound knowledge of front-end development for data-driven, customer-oriented IT solutions, ideally on a global enterprise level
  • Excellent knowledge of Javascript and its latest standards, experience in TypeScript, React, Redux (legacy) and ideally Apollo, as well as in AWS-based cloud environments are an advantage
  • Ability to write high-quality code, good understanding of usability patterns and experience in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
  • Fluent English, German or a second foreign language is an advantage
  • Innovativeness and excellent communication and analytical skills to build good working relationships within the organization and in a diverse and global team
