We are currently looking for an Operations Analyst (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf for our client, an established and publicly traded energy company.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of the commercial growth strategy by validating and confirming deals, as well as settling incoming and outgoing statements.
• Analyze potential improvements and standardization opportunities to increase business process efficiency within trading operations, with a comprehensive front-to-end view.
• Evaluate possibilities for further digitalization of existing business processes in trade confirmation and settlement as part of your analysis.
• Ensure smooth business process improvements in line with Compliance and Internal Control requirements, while maintaining daily operational work.
• Support the roll-out of our Operational Excellence & Digital Vision across Commercial Operations.
• Foster the development of continuous improvement skills and mindset across Commercial Operations.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, such as Front Office, IT, and Accounting teams.

Profile:

• Work experience in the field of digitalization is essential.
• Work experience in trade confirmation and settlement 
• Knowledge of SAP systems is required; ETRM knowledge is a plus.
• Good knowledge of MS Office services.
• Effective and efficient communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Reliability, a self-driven mentality, and a result-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Affinity for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration (service orientation).
• German: Nice to have
