Location: Mainz (hybrid, 2 days per week remote)
Tasks:
- Ensure compliance with standards, good cyber security practices, local regulation, regulatory requirements
- Actively contribute to the Global IT Shared Services Delivery strategy
- Responsible for the service delivery of local and Global Platforms - Application Layer areas including quality of IT deliveries & performance of solutions
- Provide Support for local and Global Platforms
- Implementing & extending Companies tools & inspiring its use within the business environment, advising on best practices to ensure its features are utilized to their fullest
- Proactively identifies improvement areas, including user training on how to leverage Platforms
- Interacts with and constructively challenges users & stakeholders
- Delivers quality configuration & development work relating to IT systems in scope.
Skills:
- Engineer or university equivalent (bachelor’s degree) in computer science, information technology or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge on IT business landscape, especially in the field of ERP / CRM (Sage, MS Dynamics, S/4Hana)
- Good experience in Database, SQL queries, business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, power App
- Ability to gain understanding of business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope
- Experience managing external suppliers and IT vendors
- Knowledge of the life sciences industry preferably
- Fluent English and very good command in the German language
