IT System Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Task
  • You will be ensuring the smooth operation of client PCs, mobile devices, telecommunications and multimedia systems
  • In this role you will oversee the installation, configuration and improvement of the client environment and troubleshooting/error elimination while constantly ensuring system availability and monitoring the infrastructure
  • Further you will be providing and expanding functions/services and managing users/access authorizations
  • The monitoring, configuration and maintenance of servers and server hardware is also in your role
  • The management of the virtual server environment and future server environment Azure is not new for you
  • You monitor, configure and maintain backups as well as network management including monitoring and customization
  • You carry out error analyses and searches on various server systems
  • Independent and proactive action to avoid potential threats and constant further development of the existing system environment is part of your tasks


Your Profile
  • Completed degree in computer science, vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, you have already gained several years of professional experience as an IT system engineer/administrator with a focus on Windows and have acquired good knowledge of Windows servers and their roles (Active Directory, ADDS, file server, application server)
  • Your very good knowledge of English enables you to support international users as well as to successfully carry out IT-related conversations in English
  • You have knowledge of the administration and architecture of a globally networked infrastructure of Windows servers and Windows end devices (LAN/WAN/WLAN) and are prepared to familiarize yourself with new topics
  • You have expertise in client computing and VMware server virtualization, HP server and backup hardware expertise and Veeam backup system expertise
  • Good knowledge of Office 365, CAD, Microsoft SQL Server, PowerShell and automation
  • Good knowledge of Cisco and basic knowledge of SCCM are an advantage
